If you believe that the Data Controller has violated any legal provisions relating to data processing or has failed to comply with any of your requests, you may initiate an investigation procedure with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) to address the presumed unlawful data processing.

Furthermore, please be informed that in case of violation of data processing laws or non-fulfillment of any request by the Data Controller, you have the right to file a civil lawsuit against the Data Controller before a court.

 

Amendment of the Privacy Policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy in ways that do not affect the purpose or legal basis of data processing. By continuing to use the website after the modification comes into effect, you accept the amended Privacy Policy.

Definitions

Data Subject:
Any identified or identifiable natural person to whom personal data relates, either directly or indirectly, based on Act CXII of 2011, Section 3.

Personal Data:
Any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person—particularly the name, identification number, or one or more factors specific to their physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity—and any inference drawn from such data relating to the data subject.

Special Categories of Data:

  • Personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or party affiliation, religious or other philosophical beliefs, membership in interest representation organizations, or sexual life;

  • Personal data concerning health, addictions, or criminal convictions.

Criminal Data:
Personal data relating to a data subject that arises in connection with a criminal procedure or preceding such procedure, processed by competent authorities responsible for conducting criminal investigations or punishments, including data related to criminal records.

Public Interest Data:
Information or knowledge held by a public authority or person performing state or local government duties, or other legally defined public tasks, which does not qualify as personal data, regardless of format or method of storage. This includes data concerning jurisdiction, organizational structure, professional activities, effectiveness, data types held, relevant regulations, and contracts.

Publicly Available Data on Grounds of Public Interest:

Objection:

A natural or legal person, or an organization without legal personality, who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, makes and implements decisions related to data processing (including the tools used), or has these implemented by a contracted data processor.

Data Processing:
Any operation or set of operations performed on data regardless of the applied method, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, alteration, use, retrieval, transmission, disclosure, alignment or combination, blocking, deletion, destruction, prevention of further use, as well as taking photographs, audio or video recordings, and recording physical characteristics suitable for identifying a person (e.g., fingerprints, palm prints, DNA sample, iris image).

Making data accessible to a specific third party.

Disclosure:
Making data accessible to anyone.

Data Deletion:
Rendering data unrecognizable in such a way that recovery is no longer possible.

Data Tagging:
Attaching an identifier to data for the purpose of distinguishing it.

Data Blocking:
Attaching an identifier to data to restrict its further processing permanently or for a defined period.

Data Destruction:
Physical destruction of the data carrier containing the data.

Data Processing (Technical Tasks):
Performing technical tasks related to data processing operations, regardless of the method, tools, or location of the processing, provided the task is performed on the data.

Data Processor:
A natural or legal person, or an organization without legal personality, who processes data based on a contract with the Data Controller, including contracts mandated by law.

Data Manager:
A public authority performing public duties that produces public interest data to be mandatorily published electronically, or which generates such data during its operation.

Data Publisher:
A public authority that publishes on a website the data received from the Data Manager, if the Data Manager does not publish it themselves.

Data Set:
The totality of data managed within a single registry.

Third Party:
A natural or legal person, or organization without legal personality, who is not identical with the Data Subject, Data Controller, or Data Processor.

EEA State:
A member state of the European Union, any other state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as well as any state whose nationals enjoy the same rights as nationals of an EEA State under an international agreement concluded between the European Union and its member states and a non-EEA State.

Third Country:
Any state that is not an EEA State.

Applicable Legislation

The Data Controller undertakes to conduct its activities in this regard in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in force at all times. As of the issuance of this document, these include the following:

  • Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce Services and on Information Society Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Electronic Commerce Act").

  • Act XLVIII of 2008 on the Basic Conditions and Certain Restrictions of Economic Advertising Activities (hereinafter referred to as the "Economic Advertising Act").

  • Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information. The current version of this legislation is available at net.jogtar.hu.
