The task
The task is to create a unique brand that brings something new to the lives of Hungarian football fans, while reviving the iconic jerseys of the memorable Hungarian men’s A-national team matches.
Additionally, Hattrick should function as a standalone brand, where the emblem is presented in a clean, sophisticated, and elegant identity that reflects the strength of tradition.
But what is a HATTRICK?
Meaning: A hat-trick is three goals scored by the same player in the same match in football. The English original is hat-trick (or hat trick = "hat trick"), which was originally used in the sport of cricket, but then its use spread to football.

HATTRICK
Two logos, one product family.
Hattrick represents the product line inspired by the iconic jerseys of the Hungarian national team, while Hattrick Originals encompasses everything connected to it. During the design process, it was essential to create a clear, recognizable mark — an emblem that unites the two brands.

The 2. target group
For private label products
the target group is narrower, more towards the younger generation that places more emphasis on self-expression primary target group.
The design
During the design, I used a square editing principle as a basis, where I raised the two emphasized letters of the brand name as the emphasized elements of the logo, where the H and the tricky T became the basis of HATTRICK.
In addition to the harmonious arrangement of the square base, a horizontal layout was also needed, so a horizontal version of the logo was also created.




A strong emblem is one that works both as a logo and as a caption.
The brand can be displayed with just the logo or just the inscription.
The logo alone cannot be used in the Originals look.



When designing, I always think in black and white, but in this case I was sure that the use cases here (red and white jerseys), these colors will be the determining factors in the final result.


Upon request, the emblem can also appear in red; however, only the logo itself may be red, while the text elements remain black or white, depending on the background.


Use of the logo on jerseys
It was important that the shirts reflect the atmosphere of the iconic matches, branding was a secondary consideration in this case. Thus, only a small Hattrick logo appears on each shirt at chest height on the right side.
In addition, the logo is reflected in the neck print of the shirt, and a Hattrick patch appears on the bottom left side of each shirt.

The size is displayed on the inside of the jerseys on the neck, which includes the Hattrick logo.
Patch
The logo also appears as a patch on the side of the jerseys.

Product development
In addition to the jerseys, the Basic collection also includes products with the proprietary Hattrick logo, as well as items featuring iconic matches.
The Tickets collection includes match tickets for the jerseys,
while the Originals collection features graphics that bring the matches to life.

Using the logo on other products
The logo and emblem were not only placed on jerseys, but also on several private label products.
It was also my task to produce the product images and then upload them to the website.
